For Genesis Rhapsodos Lovers- Request - 2011

As you walk down one of the many corridors in the Shin-Ra building, a smile appears on your face as you spot the auburn coloured hair that belongs to Genesis Rhapsodos.
You'd had a crush on him for a while now, ever since the two of you had first become friends, but you knew that he didn't feel the same way. All he ever seemed interested in was reading Loveless, whenever you saw him he always had his nose buried in that book.
As you approached Genesis, you saw he was talking to one of your other best friends, Angeal. You grinned at Angeal who had spotted you, and held a finger up to your lips, silencing him, as you crept up to Genesis until you were right behind him. As usual he had Loveless in his hand.
"Yoink!" You exclaimed, snatching the book out of Genesis' hands. Genesis sighed and turned round to face you, an amused look on his face.
"Hello _________," He sighed, trying to reach for his book, but failing as you hid it behind you back, grinning up at him.
"Hey, Gen-Gen," You replied, Angeal snorting as he heard your new nickname for Genesis.
"Don't call me that," Genesis told you, scowling slightly, which makes you giggle happily.
"Aw, why not?" You ask, looking up at him innocently, still holding Genesis' book behind your back.
"Yeah, I think it suits you…Gen-Gen," Angeal joked, stepping beside you and grinning at Genesis, who was frowning.
"Shut up Angeal," Genesis mumbled, crossing his arms over his chest and glaring down at the floor, which made him look even more adorable.
"Aw, Gen-Gen," You cooed, pinching his cheek jokingly, making Angeal let out another snort of laughter.
"Don't call me Gen-Gen….and give me back my book, __________" Genesis said, looking down at you, holding his hand out expectantly.
"Fine," You sighed, rolling your eyes before placing the book in Genesis' outstretched hand.
"Anyways, __________, we need to go, you said you'd help me train the puppy," Angeal told you. The 'puppy' was Zack Fair, a good friend of yours, and for some reason Angeal had insisted on calling him puppy, which you had to admit, sort of suited Zack.
"Wait, ________, I need to talk to you," Genesis said, wiping the frown of his face.
"I'm sorry, but I really have to go, I'll talk to you later though," You say, giving Genesis a quick hug, not noticing the slight blush on Genesis' face as you do so, before following Angeal to the training room.

After training had finished, you found yourself just hanging around the corridors with Zack, who was telling you about some prank he'd played on Cloud.
"So, how are you and Aerith? I haven't seen her in a while," You asked, as you and Zack slowly wandered up the empty corridor.
"We're alright, I'm planning on taking her out tonight," Zack said, grinning.
"Oh, cool," you reply, staring at your feet as you continue to walk.
"So what about you?" Zack asks, stopping still and turning to look at you expectantly.
"What do you mean?" You ask, also stopping, and staring at him with a confused look on your face.
"How are you and Gen-"You cut Zack off by placing a hand over his mouth, muffling his words. Only Zack knew about your crush on Genesis, but you suspected that he had told Angeal, Cloud and Aerith.
"Shh!" You hissed, looking round shiftily, even though you knew that you two were the only ones in the corridor. Zack laughed as you took your hand off his mouth, and opened his mouth to say something, but was interrupted when Genesis stepped round the corner.
"Hey, Gen-Gen! What's up?" You asked walking over to him with Zack following. Genesis groaned, rolling his eyes towards the ceiling.
"__________, what did I tell you about calling me that?" Genesis said, raising his eyebrows. You opened your mouth to reply but were cut off as a loud scream rang out.
"Oh God…" Zack sighed, scratching the back of his head awkwardly.
"What's wrong?" You asked, turning to him, as he shifted about uncertainly.
"I think Cloud may have found the snake I hid in his bed," Zack explained, wincing as another scream rang out.
"You hid a snake in his bed? A real snake?" You ask in disbelief, your eyes widening as Zack nods, grinning guiltily.
"Well go help him!" You exclaim, shooing him down the corridor towards the scream. Zack nods, before running off, and you turn back around to face Genesis.
"Anyways, what was I saying?" You ask, looking up at Genesis, blushing as you notice how close he is to you.
"_________, I need to tell you something," Genesis says, placing his hands on your shoulders and staring into your eyes, a slight blush appearing on his cheeks.
"O-okay," You answer, your cheeks turning even redder than they were before.
"This is kinda hard for me to say this, but, um, _______, I really L-"Genesis started, but he was cut off by Zack running around the corner.
"__________! You gotta help me! You know that snake that I hid in Clouds room!? I can't get it back out!" Zack exclaimed, a panicked look on his face. You giggled as he started waving his arms about.
"Okay, I'll help you, Genesis, I'll talk to you later or something," You say, as Zack grabs your hand and starts to drag you to Clouds room.

It took two hours to get the snake out of Clouds room and back outside, and you were extremely tired, so you decided to head to your room and get some sleep. But just as you lay down in your bed there was a knock on your door. Sighing you get up and answer, your eyes widening as you see Genesis standing there.
"Oh, hey Gen-Gen," You say, grinning widely as Genesis groans loudly and rolls his eyes.
"Stop calling me that," He said, giving you a small smile, as you giggled.
"Right, anyways, what was it you wanted?" You ask, looking up into his deep blue eyes. You raise your eyebrows as Genesis just stands there staring at you, not moving at all. You wave a hand in front of his face, but he doesn't react, he just continues to stare into your eyes.
"Gen? Genesis? Hello? GEN-GEN!" You yell, which makes Genesis jump slightly.
"Sheesh, you were just standing there! I thought you'd gone crazy or-"You're cut off as Genesis presses his lips against your, his hands running through your hair. You freeze up in shock as he continues to kiss you, your body going tense which causes Genesis to pull away, blushing furiously.
"I-I'm sorry! Its just all day I've been trying to tell you that I like you, but everyone kept interrupting! You probably hate me such much now……I understand if you just want to be friends, I just wanted to tell-" You cut off Genesis by placing your lips upon his, wrapping your arms around his neck. You can feel Genesis smile as you kiss him, and he places one of his hands on the low of your back, whilst the other runs through your hair.
You pull away slightly to catch your breath, before Genesis presses his lips to yours again, placing his hands on the back of your neck and tilts it back slightly, deepening the kiss. You let your hands slide down to Genesis' chest, blushing slightly as you do so.
Genesis pulls away slightly, smiling widely as he stares into your eyes.
"Love you, ________" He whispers, grinning happily.
"Love you too, Gen-Gen," You giggle, blushing slightly.
Genesis leans forward again, brushing his lips against yours before you pull away, making Genesis give you a confused look. You smile before saying,
"Hey, I just noticed! You didn't tell me off for calling you Gen-Gen!"
